Just another day at Ed's Bookstore and Coffee Shop. Ed's taking care of the Bookstore and his wife Carol is taking care of the Coffee Shop. When all of a sudden a blinding flash of light shattered all the windows or maybe it was the thunderous noise that shook the foundation of the building. Anyway, everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. The Building began to melt and smoke and heat filled everything. The smoke finally began to clear Ed saw Carol with two long time regulars Herb and Denise standing in a semi-melted floor. There were charred bones and the smell of burnt flesh everywhere. Through a giant hole in the wall Ed could see buildings had collapsed and he couldn't help thinking; "how did we escape this nightmare, when so many people died?" Then he noticed he still had his cup of coffee in his hand. The coffee cup was not charred nor was he or his clothes. Carol, Herb and Denise had been drinking coffee as well and all of them looked unscathed. But some of the bones seemed to be clinging to a cup of coffee Too. Then Ed realized they had just poured a new batch of coffee that he had made, you know; his famous mud coffee. Somehow the coffee protected them and their clothes. The four of them go and get the last four canisters of the mud coffee. Carol moving a little too fast spills a few drops of coffee on the floor, the drop of coffee makes contact with a pile of bones and all of a sudden the bones start to bubble. In a few seconds details of a figure starts to rise. Oh, no! it's some kind of mutated bug. The coffee effected them differently, they were larger and meaner. Before the bug or bugs came back totally alive Ed grabbed some back packs and put one canister of coffee in each one as we ran out of the building. The race begins. Ed and the other go searching for their loves ones and friends to bring them back to life but the mutated bugs now realize the the coffee is what bought them back to life. The Bug's quest is to steal the coffee, let the human race die, and populate the world with mutant bugs only. The game begins!
