The Elohim Tribe
In the year 2,000 B.C. there was a severe drought in what is now known as New Mexico. This drought brought upon the land “Total devastation.” New Mexico was the homeland of the Elohim Tribe, a people who lived in the Chaco Canyon. This drought wreaked havoc upon the land for 60 years. The Elohim Tribe prior to the devastation and their joining with the “Great Spirit” sought out hiding places for their people in case of a possible attack from an enemy. In their searching for such hiding places they found a cave in their own canyon that seemed to burrow down into the core of the canyon. It was a dark and treacherous pathway. None the less in their climb down they found a “Vast” Rain forest. The Rain forest was created by bursts of gigantic mists of hot air and water that stemmed from a Huge Underground, Hot, Water Spring. The photosynthesis necessary for plant life was obtained by UV light that was produced by mercury embedded in rocks near the core of the spring that traveled deep into the core of the earth. There the temperatures were molten and caused the mercury to vaporize and produce the UV light necessary for the process of photosynthesis. There were also smaller springs that ran through and around the Rain forest producing a secondary watering system. These springs ran through some of the caverns to various openings that found their way to the surface of the canyon. These openings created pathways for the people and their horses to travel about freely. In the center of the Rain forest was a great and mighty, water fall. It’s power was used to generate forms of electricity. Seedlings traveling through the air found their way from the surface; possibly through the caverns that produced the vegetation found in the Rain forest. The Elohim Tribe decided to migrate into the Rain forest. They built large cities encircling the main capital that was entrenched in the Rain forest encircling the giant, water fall. The chief of the tribe was called, Khay-lam. He was a strong and wise ruler. His name meant “The Dreamer” and it was given to him by his father, Sekel the day before he was born. Sekel’s dream began with him having a great struggle with a powerful people who resembled spirit beings. They fought fiercely as if the balance of all that existed in their world was in jeopardy. Sekel; however, was triumphant and defeated the entire army. At the end of the battle a being of great brilliance appeared to him and Sekel somehow knew he was in the presence of “The Great Spirit / Elohim."
